01/27 Reading - Thoughts & Comments DX3
27-Jan Exodus 5-6, Luke 9-10, Psalms 131-135, Proverbs 27
Exodus 5:4-9 (NIV)
But the king of Egypt said, "Moses and Aaron, why are you taking the people away from their labor? Get back to your work!" [5] Then Pharaoh said, "Look, the people of the land are now numerous, and you are stopping them from working." [6] That same day Pharaoh gave this order to the slave drivers and foremen in charge of the people: [7] "You are no longer to supply the people with straw for making bricks; let them go and gather their own straw. [8] But require them to make the same number of bricks as before; don't reduce the quota. They are lazy; that is why they are crying out, `Let us go and sacrifice to our God.' [9] Make the work harder for the men so that they keep working and pay no attention to lies."
When you find out who you are in Christ, and you find your core vision statement, you will begin to plan how to make the vision appear on earth. However, there is an old life that will tell you to stay put. Old relationships, an old job, an old city, old family members, old Pharaohs that are set to NOT let you go.
Many people who are Compass Guide students have felt the sudden resistance of the old slave based, Pharaoh system which says NO once they start launching out with their 25 word core vision statement. There is a conflict between Heaven and earth, and Pharaoh will heap double work on you, double taxes, double jobs, and will call you lazy. A spiritual conflict may occur that actually opposes your finances, taxrs your time, job, and relationships. But because God has spoken and commanded, He is going to destroy the chains of the old life so that you will be free to head to your land of promise!
Included in your 25 word core vision statement is a heavenly command saying, "Let My People Go!". Repeat your statement out loud every day! You are on your way to Pharaohs release and total victory!
