6-Apr Joshua 13-14 2 Thess. 1-2 Psalms 26-30 Proverbs 6

Josh 14:10-12 (NIV) 10 "Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the desert. So here I am today, eighty-five years old! 11 I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I'm just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then. 12 Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me that day. You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but, the Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as he said."

Caleb has a prophecy given by Moses.  He followed the Lord wholeheartedly in pursuit of that promise.  He kept his eye on it, stayed loyal to Israel and his leadership, and never forgot the promise.  He knew that someday he would stand in the land of promise and make this declaration.  He also knew that someday he would stand on his land of promise with dead giants and squatters all around, and he would possess this land of promise for himself and his future generations.  Caleb would wait a short 45 years to inherit the promise, and then it would be thrust upon him as reality!

You are no different than Caleb.  As you follow the Lord wholeheartedly, the vision and dream in you will burn and drive you towards pursuit and possession.  It will take time to fully inherit what God has in store for you.  But He will guide, train, prepare, protect, and provide for you while you are on your way to the land of promise.  Your personal land of promise (like Caleb's) stands before you.  90% of the world will NEVER inherit the land of promise that God has in store for them.  But you shall inherit it because you keep it before you every day. You wholeheartedly pursue the Lord and His intentions.  You read His word daily, and give yourself to guidance of the Holy Spirit.  You have no other destiny than to HIT your target!  You ARE the remnant.  You ARE the tithe of God.  You ARE the 10%!
