4-Apr Joshua 9-10 1 Thess. 3-4 Psalms 16-20 Proverbs 4

Josh 9:22-23 (NIV) 22 Then Joshua summoned the Gibeonites and said, "Why did you deceive us by saying, 'We live a long way from you,' while actually you live near us? 23 You are now under a curse: You will never cease to serve as woodcutters and water carriers for the house of my God."

The Gibeonite deception could have been stopped IF the Israelites had done one thing - "Inquire Of The Lord".  They took the deception hook, line, and sinker, and they failed to inquire of the Lord before making a covenant with these deceptive enemies of God.

Have you ever been deceived or taken advantage of by a deceiver, a liar, or a fraud?  They are everywhere in life, and their job is to disrupt your cause so they can make a profit or be preserved.  They are not interested in being your servants, though they will claim to be your servant.  They are not who they claim they are.  You must know how to deal with these frauds, liars, and thieves in Kingdom Living.

When fraudulent enemies come your way, they plan to take something from you or to get you tied up in an agreement that will not benefit you.  These frauds are everywhere in all walks of life.  Some of them are actually sanctioned by our governments to exist, though the propagate lies and deception, harm and slavery.  My favorite Gibeonites to expose are bankers.  They love to give you credit, loan you money for a house or car, and then suck you into serving them for years or decades while they claim to be your servants and helpers.  They hand you a credit card and say, "You deserve this!" But in effect, they are helping you to enslave yourself to them with high interest and mathematical loan systems that will cost your life and future.  We live in an entire generation where our children and grandchildren's inheritances have been stolen from them by bankers who have enslaved all of America into the doctrines of debt.  

There are so many more frauds and Gibeonites in the land.  In your past you might have been taught in the church to forgive them, just let it slide, give in to them, and don't make a scene.  But in the kingdom, your Heavenly Father is telling a different set of instructions.  You and I are moving forward and taking the kingdom by force.  We are pushing forward towards our 25 word Core Vision Statement.  We are accomplishing goals, gaining ground, and seizing territory.  We must make commitments, sign agreements, and cut covenants on our path.  We MUST inquire of the Lord on every agreement and covenant.  Some of them will be fraudulent.  Some of the fraudulent ones God will actually lead you into so that you can enslave those spirits and drag them to serve the kingdom purposes.  Others, God will tell you to walk away from.  Regardless, in a forward, advancing, spiritual soldier for Jesus capacity, you must know that fraud is not tolerated in our territorial advance.  Anyone who defrauds you is subject to the rules of the Kingdom.  While we do not fight flesh and blood, we DO deal with spiritual principalities and rulers of the dark world.  We have the authority given by God to enslave those dark spirits and make them serve our interests forever.  They must carry our waterpots, and cut wood for our building projects from this day forward!  You have that capacity, that authority, and instruction from the scriptures to deal harshly with any fraud, thief, or criminal who tries to tie you up into an agreement that's false.  No forgiveness of these wicked spirits.  No mercy.  Take them by force and deal with them through faith in God.  Again, these are not natural, carnal, fleshly enemies that we're dealing with, but they are spiritual demons that you can chain up and sentence to serve God's kingdom purpose.

A few ways to beat the banking Gibeonite is go get his credit card that offers high airline miles for every Dollar you spend.  Pay your card off each month, but use it to pay everything from groceries, gas, utilities, and even your house loan.  Use those miles earned for free airline tickets, vacations, or to pay on your house loan.  There is no interest paid on your card because you are faithful to pay it off every month.  The bank now serves you and the kingdom by paying for your things.  You no longer serve the bank or your card.

When buying a house or a car, you don't get bank loans anymore.  You are a 10/10/80 investment saver, and you are the bank.  The only loans you get are from yourself, and you pay yourself the interest that you would have otherwise paid the bank.  You borrow from no one, but you loan to anyone you see fit.  You become the bank and replace those Gibeonite fools.

If you must secure a loan for a home, you walk in and demand a SIMPLE INTEREST loan rather than a MORTGAGE loan which was concocted to make you a slave.  Simple interest loans rob the bank of making slave based interest on you, and it puts the loan back into reason where you are not fleeced like everyone else.   Through solid principles you force the banker to serve your interests, and you never again serve his.
