09/28 Compass Guide Comments By Dr. Daniel Daves

Proverbs 28:27 (GW) Whoever gives to the poor lacks nothing. Whoever ignores the poor receives many curses.
A huge part of Christianity is the spirit of giving to the poor, as God is a giver. He has given His one and only Son. He gives to his promised ones, widows and orphans. He has set up an entire eco system where he feeds the animals and birds every day. I have heard that there is not enough money on earth to set a system up to feed the animals and birds for just one day. But God's system takes care of them daily. He also takes care of us and our daily needs. Looking at the sun, we see a ball of fiery gas that warms our planet, causes everything to grow, and even gives us the Vitamin D that we need to survive. God's giving is amazing, and He lives in you.
There is a supreme kingdom law in giving. We say, "What goes around comes around." "God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows shall he also reap." "Give to the poor and you will lack nothing." "The righteous will never be found begging bread." On and on the Bible declares that those who give to the poor are activating a gift of reciprocity that meets needs and opens up the desires of the heart. How does this happen? It's not for us to figure out, because it's the principle of the boomerang. The boomerang works for good or for evil. If you plot evil against your neighbor, the boomerang hits you in the back of the head with a multiplied shot of what you had planned. If you plot good, blessing and feeding the poor, the boomerang comes around to hit you in the back of the head with more of the same good that you offered. You can't figure it out because you can't see it. The boomerang is out of eye and ear shot. It comes from another dimension. You can't plan for it because it comes at a time and from a place of God's choosing. But be rest assured, it will come!
I know a man who lives his dream life with God. And he is positive that he is not a great person. He says he's selfish, hard on the people he works with, and offensive. He isn't smart and doesn't have any special gifts. But he says that he has one thing in his favor. He feeds widows and orphans every day, and because of that, God makes his own personal dreams come true. Let that sink in. I took this challenge decades ago when this man told me this kingdom principle. You really should too.
Let the boomerang begin to affect your life, family, business and future!
