7-Dec Amos 3-4, 1 Cor. 7-8, Psalms 51-55, Proverbs 7

Amos 3:7 (NIV) Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.

Amos 4:13 (NIV) 13 He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man, he who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth-- the Lord God Almighty is his name.

Amos reveals in two scriptures that God talks to men.  He does nothing unless He first reveals His plan to his servants the prophets.  And in this New Testament season that we live in, we ALL have the Spirit of Prophecy living inside of us (if you are reconnected to God through the blood of Jesus Christ).  He is called the Holy Spirit.  God wants to reveal His thoughts to us, and He will gladly reveal His plans if we are listening.  If we will honor His voice and His plans, we will begin to hear them.  But He will not reveal anything to the adamic, fallen, swine nature, just as a farmer would never put a pearl necklace on a pig.  The dishonor, disrespect, and inability of that pig to determine the value of the necklace disqualifies the pig from ever wearing that jewelry of great value.  And a person who doesn't respect the Word of the Lord disqualified himself from hearing the voice of the Lord.

The world is disconnected from Heaven to such a degree that people can't tell up from down, right from wrong, or good from evil.  They are easily manipulated and turned by false doctrines, frauds, and the lying of adamic, self serving men.  And due to the critical times we live in, righteous men are actually being labeled as false, evil, hateful, terrorists.  God's voice is being dismissed as men declare themselves independent and free from the Lord and His Kingdom.

Psalms 2:1-4 (NIV) 1 Why do the nations conspire  and the peoples plot in vain? 2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against his Anointed One.  3 "Let us break their chains," they say, "and throw off their fetters." 4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.

Psalms 2:10-12 (NIV) 10 Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

We definitely live in a day where nations and people are throwing off their chains and fetters, the principles and laws of the Kingdom of God which connect people and nations to the blessings of Heaven.  But while the nations throw off their chains, you and I must remain connected and vigilant.  We must NOT go with them in thought, deed, direction, or concept.  We must continue steadfast in honor of God's voice, His way, and His plan.

The PROPHET vs. The Spirit Of Prophecy:
It's important to know the spirit of Prophecy who lives inside of all of us, called the Holy Spirit.  But it's also important to understand and acknowledge the GIFT OF THE PROPHET.  This ascension gift mentioned in Eph. 4:11 is one of the 5 gifts that come down upon men and women in order to help lead us in God's voice, His will, and His direction.  While most of the New Testament church does not know, acknowledge, or utilize this gift of the prophet in reality, it will be imperative to fully acknowledge, HONOR, and utilize this gift in our lives, families, church and business endeavors of the future.  God speaks directly to prophets.   He has given them a powerful gift of helping to grow the body of Christ into maturity, adulthood, and Kingdom understanding.

God does nothing unless He reveals it first to His servants the prophets.  If this is true, then what is God saying to the prophets?  While most Christians don't have a clue, it is our responsibility to have more than a clue, but to be closely connected to the prophets.  Amazingly, they are generally saying the exact same thing around the world and across the land!  What are they saying?

First of all, my perception of the prophets "unified corporate voice" is one of INTENSE WARNING.  They are sounding the alarms around the world to tell the people that God is coming to bring judgment in the land for unabated sin, murder of innocents, and wickedness of leadership.  They are warning the people to connect to God, be careful concerning every life decision being made during this time.  And the prophets are seemingly getting angry.  I can hear it in their voices, as they seem perplexed that church going Christians are not heeding the warning calls as the prophets believe they should be heeded.  There seems to be disappointment and a raised level of warning because many people are not stirred by the prophetic warning cries.  Many of the prophets are beginning to go into a mourning mode for that which is lost.  This tells me that there is a strong delusion inside the church which is keeping people from connecting and protecting themselves.  And when prophets raise the level of warning along with a mourning for great loss, we know that the disconnect between Heaven and godless men is so wide that great pain and anguish are coming to the world.  The life filled Spirit in the hearts of the prophets begins to break, to intercede, and to mourn as the time of great loss comes closer.

These are all warning calls, indicating what is to come.  The sun might be shining brightly today, and all may seem to be well.  We hear the shouts of PEACE PEACE, SAFETY SAFETY from the false prophets and from evil men who have clearly abandoned the faith.  But we should NEVER stop listening to the prophets, heeding their corporate warning, and honoring their gift in our lives.  The Lord is talking and they are repeating what He is saying.  His plans should put EVERY BELIEVER on the move in one way or another because God is positioning His people as chess pieces in the grand last play called CHECK MATE!
