9-Sep Isaiah 23-24, 1 Peter 5, Psalms 56-60, Proverbs 9

Prov 9:1-6 (NIV) Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn out its seven pillars. 2 She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she has also set her table. 3 She has sent out her maids, and she calls from the highest point of the city. 4 "Let all who are simple come in here!" she says to those who lack judgment. 5 "Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed. 6 Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of understanding.

Prov 9:13-18 (NIV) 13 The woman Folly is loud; she is undisciplined and without knowledge. 14 She sits at the door of her house, on a seat at the highest point of the city, 15 calling out to those who pass by, who go straight on their way. 16 "Let all who are simple come in here!" she says to those who lack judgment. 17 "Stolen water is sweet; food eaten in secret is delicious!" 18 But little do they know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of the grave.[1]

Two women each have their houses at the highest point of the city. One is called WISDOM and the other is called FOLLY.  They both have houses there, and they are both calling to those who pass by to COME IN HERE.  One has prepared food and wine and offers it to those who come in.  The other has stolen her food and wine and teaches others to do the same.  In one house, you will live. In the other house, you will join the dead.

Life is really pretty simple.  Every day is a choice.  LIfe or death, blessing or cursing.  This is a choice that we make every day.  I can't choose life today and then enjoy it tomorrow.  I must choose every day to stay in one house or another, and eat the food of one house or another.  If I bounce back and forth between houses, I am no different than a community dog who runs around looking for a handout from various homes in the neighborhood.

God commands us to CHOOSE LIFE, THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONG IN THE LAND.  This is not a request, but a command.  And if we are going to fear the Lord, to honor the Lord, we will choose the way of WISDOM.  We will choose to live in that house and not to fellowship with the woman FOLLY.  We will not become friends with the dead who live there, nor will we listen to Folly's offer to eat and drink free, because stolen food is sweet!

Today's message screams out the fact that God's people MUST NOT EAT STOLEN FOOD!  We must receive our life, our sustaining power, and our daily bread from God.  Any other way is from the woman folly.  While we may receive some mercy and help from government, a government program, or a church, this is not something that we should begin to depend on.  America today has over 48 million people on food stamps, and over 51% of Americans are now receiving some sort of aid, program help, or long term entitlements from the government in the USA.  Not only is this bankrupting the nation that was once a great place to receive from God, but it's also turning people from God and from wisdom's house.  When we take on the bail out mentality, and "I'm here to get mine!", we enter Folly's house and live on stolen food and drink, and we join the dead without even knowing it!

God has a way, an economy, and a Kingdom to supply His people with.  It's not hard, but it all starts with FEAR OF THE LORD.  It's this fear that is the beginning of wisdom.  And through the fear of the Lord, you enter Wisdom's house as a simple person.  Then you begin to eat the food and wine that she has prepared for you, which will cause you to LIVE.  As you begin to live, learn, and grow, you learn the seven pillars of Wisdom and how to build your life in the fear of the Lord.  You learn the secrets that are only given by Wisdom once you become a full time member of her house. (The neighborhood dog who runs from wisdom's house to folly's house looking for scraps is not eligible for God's Kingdom blessings, secrets, or the blessings of LIFE.)

There is only ONE WAY that I know to get you to Wisdom's house.  And the true fear of the Lord will cause you to activate this WAY.  Reading the Word of God every day will put you directly in the house of WISDOM.  Fear/respect for the Lord, His way, His words, His Kingdom, and His secret knowledge will open the doors of Wisdom wide for you at the highest point of the city!  It's hard to explain, but when you begin to intermingle the words of God with your human soul and spirit, miracles begin to happen.  The elements, relationships, shift, and the doors of Heaven open up around you for supernatural blessings.  The miraculous life begins to unfold around you and you learn from a new perspective, how a believer walks in Heaven's benefits.  These benefits are not stolen, nor are they a part of Folly's house. They are yours, and they are your inheritance in God's Kingdom of light through Jesus Christ His Son!

Get a COMPASS GUIDE one year life planner and begin reading the Word of God every day.  Watch your plans unfold and your core life vision statement come to full fruition as you live in the house of wisdom and eat/drink what she has prepared for you!  Get your book at and come out to this forum every day to receive your reading instructions and various comments from different individuals throughout the year.

May God bless the house of Wisdom, and blow the house of Folly down!
