11/17 Reading - Thoughts & Comments DX3

Post by Admin on Sat Nov 17, 2012 12:51 pm

17-Nov Ezekiel 39-40, Acts 11-12, Psalms 101-105, Proverbs 17

God wants you to know His measurement and plan for your life and future.

Ezek 40:5 (NIV) He measured the wall; it was one measuring rod thick and one rod high.

Ezekiel had a vision of a bronze man, who had measuring instruments in his hand.  He was about to go throughout the temple and begin measuring, and he told Ezekiel to remember what was measured and tell Israel exactly what he had seen.  Evidently, these measurements were going to be important.  The measurements were going to come from a city on a high mountain.  This bronze man (bronze is the symbol for judgment) was going to measure part of Heaven and give Ezekiel the structural details so that he could bring these measurements to the earth.

God has a measurement for you in Heaven.  This heavenly measurement that He wants to show you will give you the capacity to build on earth what He has already built in Heaven.  In other words, God knew you before you were created in your mother's womb.  You are not an accident, and your purpose on earth needs to be patterned off of the purpose in Heaven.  This is the reason that the COMPASS GUIDE book teaches the 25 word Core Vision Statement, and setting godly goals for your 8 territories of life.  You need to get Heaven onto paper, out of your heart, and measured through goals.

The man of bronze stands on a high mountain today, and wants you to come with him to measure your life and your future.  He wants you to write down what he shows you.  And what he shows you is true, it's precise, and it's measured!  Write down the vision!

Hab 2:2-3 (KJV) 2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Remember that the APPOINTED TIME awaits.  Until we see the vision and then write it down so heralds can run with it, it awaits.........   The appointed time starts when you write the vision from Heaven.

Matt 5:13-16 (KJV) 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

You are the city on a hill.  God wants to show you who you are, and He wants to measure it out for you in plain detail so that you can build on earth what He has architected from Heaven!  Let the light from this city shine!

As a funny side note, Ezek. 41 makes it clear that the inner temple has cheribums and palm trees.  Maybe God is calling us all to the place with palm trees!  Pura Vida, as they say in Costa Rica!  LOL  king  king  king
