10-Apr Joshua 22-24 1 Tim. 5-6 Psalms 46-50 Proverbs 10

Josh 22:7-8 (NIV) When Joshua sent them home, he blessed them, 8 saying, "Return to your homes with your great wealth--with large herds of livestock, with silver, gold, bronze and iron, and a great quantity of clothing--and divide with your brothers the plunder from your enemies."

Two and a half tribes decided that they wanted to stay on the other side of the river and not live in Canaan. But they sent their fighting men to help the rest of Israel conquer the giants and the squatters in the land. Once the land had rest and the squatters had been driven out of the land, Joshua blessed these faithful men who had finished their task. Amazingly, they had become extremely wealthy in the land of promise. They were taking their wealth home with them to divide among the tribes. This included precious metals, clothing, livestock and more.

This scripture shows us that if we enter our land of promise, there will be great wealth and riches waiting for us, both natural and spiritual. The land of promise is a merging of God's spiritual kingdom promises, and a physical location that you will be living on where Heaven and earth collide. Any time Heaven kisses the earth with a PROMISED LAND MERGE, there is a huge blessing that comes upon the earth. It's our individual responsibility to find the land of promise, get to it, seize it for the kingdom, and facilitate the MERGE of Heaven and earth. Wealth and riches await the man or woman who makes it to this land of promise, seizing it and conquering it's giants.

When the ark of the covenant was taken to Obed Edom's house, God blessed Obed Edom and his entire household. The ark was a powerful MERGE of Heaven and earth. This is symbolic of the blessing that comes in your personal promised land which God has in store for you.

2 Sam 6:11 (NIV) 11 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months, and the Lord blessed him and his entire household.

Other biblical examples of Heaven kissing the earth and the promised land bringing great blessing include:

The Temple Of Solomon
The Life & Ministry Of Jesus

Whenever we show up on time, on location, in God's order, there will be fireworks. Spiritual blessings and natural blessings will follow. We don't chase the blessings, but we are in pursuit of the God who just so happens to own all of these blessings. And it's His good pleasure to share His inheritance with His sons and daughters, and those who follow Him into the land of promise.
